Fees and MYR
RedotPay fees Malaysia
Check card fee, FX, selected merchant fees, ATM cost, crypto network fee and MYR buffer before you apply, deposit or pay.
Fee matrix Malaysians should check
Do not reduce RedotPay fees to one number. A Malaysia user may see card application fee, FX conversion, selected merchant fee, ATM fee, crypto network fee and merchant authorization hold at different points.
The final amount should come from the current app screen or official Help Center. Use this page to separate the cost types before a payment or deposit.
- Card fee is separate from spendable balance.
- FX and merchant fees are separate from crypto network cost.
- ATM and hotel holds need extra buffer.
Card fee vs spending fee
Official RedotPay Help Center references list 10 USD for a virtual card application and 100 USD for a physical card application. Treat those as references, then confirm the current amount before paying.
A card application fee does not mean the card has spending balance. If you fund with crypto, also check token, network, minimum deposit and gas fee before expecting the card to work.
- Virtual card reference: 10 USD.
- Physical card reference: 100 USD.
- Current app screen controls the final decision.
FX, selected merchant and ATM fees
MYR spending can involve merchant currency, RedotPay quote, final settlement and possible selected merchant rules. For travel, a hotel or ATM can add separate holds or operator fees.
Before a larger payment, test a smaller amount, keep a MYR buffer and save the final receipt so you can compare pending hold against settlement.
- Check merchant currency before paying.
- Watch selected merchant fee rules.
- Use ATM only after checking physical-card and operator fees.
Before a larger MYR spend
For Malaysia daily use, the cheaper method is not always RedotPay. DuitNow QR, Touch 'n Go, GrabPay, Boost or a local bank card can be cleaner for local-only merchants.
Use RedotPay where card payment is supported and the fee screen still makes sense after conversion, balance buffer and refund timing.
- Use local QR or wallet when the merchant is QR-only.
- Keep a backup local card or e-wallet.
- Save payment and refund evidence.
